Privacy policy
Effective November 4, 2026.
The short version
We don't collect personal information. There are no accounts, no sign-up, no forms that send data to us, and no advertising or analytics trackers on this site.
The state finder and checklist
The state filter and multi-state checklist run entirely in your browser. What you type or tick is never sent to us or anyone else.
Server logs
Our web host keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) for security and operation. We don't use them to identify visitors.
Links to official sites
When you follow a link to a state program or MissingMoney.com, that site's own privacy policy applies.
If you email us, we use your message only to reply. Please don't send sensitive personal or financial information.
Changes
If we later add analytics or advertising, we will update this page before doing so and describe any cookies and consent choices.
